June Updates

Wow, what a busy month. Maybe a month is too long between posts. We've celebrated Father's Day, my birthday, and the 4th of July. We have started PT, OT and Speech Therapy. Well, we haven't actually started Speech yet. We were supposed to begin today, but it all proved to be just too much for babygirl. She missed her morning nap, had PT at 11, went to lunch with the girls, then fell so sound asleep just before her Speech session was to begin that 3 of us couldn't wake her up. The girl was out. We thought if we put her in the chair and made some noise she would wake up. Nope. So, we'll try again next week. At any rate, she is trying very hard to stand up independently. She even turned a somersault yesterday. She didn't mean to of course, but she thought it was fun after the shock wore off. We are beginning to get more smiles out of her, and she is eating 100% table food now. She is beginning to be able to pick up cheerios and such to feed herself. She's doing better, but the dog still hangs out under the highchair when the cheerios come out. It's a feast for her! More next month, or maybe sooner. I'm sure we've been busier than this, but I can't remember.
